In honor of America 250, the 80th anniversary of the Nashville Symphony and the 20th anniversary of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the opening program of the 2026/27 season celebrates the rich sonic kaleidoscope of American composers past and present. The performances are inside the Schermerhorn Symphony Center (1 Symphony Pl., Nashville) on Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $20.
