Habitats Tour

On this tour, students will compare and contrast the habitats of the bears and marine birds (penguins and puffins) at the Zoo. Why do the polar bears have a really deep pool, but the grizzly bears don't? Why do the Humboldt penguins live outside at the Zoo, but the other three species live inside? This tour will introduce students to animals at the Zoo and discuss how Zoo habitats are designed based upon animal needs. MO GLES: K.PS1.A.1, 1.LS1.A.1, K.LS1.C.1
